  8. The best way of looking at it is how I came upon in a gnostic teaching which stated feelings are spiritual thoughts crystalized in the physical world. As strange as it sounds, emotions are the product of what before is just a mental concept. Feeling them in your physical body amounts to bringing spirit into matter.
    One of the best uses of feelings is to turn your looking glass around and examine what it was that caused your physical sensation of feeling. It can give you great insight into mental thoughts influencing your life.

    Lets all make it our goal to feel good, no matter what. No matter what anyone else is doing, no matter where we are standing at this moment in time, no matter what is going on in the outside world; we choose to find ways to feel good. It’s the only thing we have any control over, and it is the only thing that will make our lives better and move us towards the things we really want.
    So from here on out, when someone asks what your goal in life is, tell them it’s to feel good. Write it on a piece of paper and keep it with you, post it on a mirror, put it beside your bed, add a reminder to your phone – MY GOAL IS TO FIND REASONS TO FEEL GOOD ALL DAY LONG, and if I do not feel good in any moment for whatever reason, I will ask myself and the Universe “What can I do to feel better right now?” “How can I feel better?” “What is it that makes me feel good?”.
